Our Core Values

At Juniper Tree Recovery, our core values guide everything we do—from how we serve our clients to how we work together as a team.  These values are foundational to our mission of Christ-centered recovery and are essential to our ongoing pursuit of excellence, compassion, and healing.

Love

At Juniper Tree Recovery, love is not just a word—it’s a way of life. We genuinely love and care for both our clients and our team. While love can sometimes be misunderstood or dismissed as sentimental, it is a powerful and scientifically supported force for healing.

We are a place of grace, not judgment; a place where love leads the way. The Bible reminds us repeatedly of love’s power and importance:

"Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud... It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails." (1 Corinthians 13:4–8)

Love covers a multitude of sins and creates a safe, accepting environment where true transformation can take place.

Servant Leadership

We believe leadership is about serving others first—with humility, compassion, and purpose. Every member of our team is encouraged to lead by example, putting the needs of clients and community above self-interest.

This mindset builds trust, fosters growth, and strengthens relationships—both within our organization and in the lives of those we serve.

"Through love, serve one another." (Galatians 5:13)

Perseverance

Recovery is not without its challenges—but with God we can be overcomers. At Juniper Tree Recovery, we lean into life’s trials with courage, faith, and resilience, trusting God to give us the strength and wisdom we need.

No one walks this road alone. We support each other as a family, sharpening and uplifting one another every step of the way.

"Consider it pure joy... whenever you face trials... because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance." (James 1:2–4)

"As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another." (Proverbs 27:17)

Passion

We are passionate about recovery, about our clients, and above all, about serving Christ. We believe life is a God-given adventure meant to be lived with joy, purpose, and enthusiasm.

We encourage everyone in our community—clients and staff alike—to pursue their goals with boldness, stand firm in their beliefs, and live each day with intention and heart.

"Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord..."

(Colossians 3:23)

"Serve wholeheartedly, as if you were serving the Lord, not people."

(Ephesians 6:7)
